Prof. Yilin Cao, The Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, China
Currently, Prof. Cao serves as the Directors of National Tissue Engineering Center of China; Shanghai Institute of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Meanwhile, Prof. Cao serves as the President of the Reparative and Reconstructive Surgery affiliated to Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine; the chief editor of Chinese Journal “Tissue Engineering and Reconstructive Surgery”. Up to now, Prof. Cao has published more than 80 SCI papers as the corresponding author; Editor-in-chief of “the Theory and Practice of Tissue Engineering”, “The Tissue Engineering”. He has trained 6 postdoctoral students, and more than 80 doctoral students; obtained 29 licensed patents, in which one is the patent for utility models.
Prof. Ki Dong Park, Ajou University, KoreaProf. Ki Dong Park received his B.S. and M.S. at Hanyang University, Korea, and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Utah, USA in 1990. After postdoctoral training at CCCD in Utah, he worked as a principal research scientist at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology from 1991 to 2000. He joined the faculty in the Department of Molecular Science and Technology at Ajou University in 2000. He was the president of the Korean Biomaterials Society in 2013. He is vice president of several academic societies such as Korea Polymer Society, Korea Industrial, and Engineering Chemistry Society and Korea Interventional Medical Devices Society. He is awarded as Fellow of Korea Academy of Science and Technology in 2020. He is also serving as Congress Chair of World Biomaterials Congress to be held in Korea 2024. He is an editorial board member of many journals. He has published over 300 scientific publications and possessed 70 patents. He also received many awards for his scientific achievements. His research interests are wide-ranging from implants, drug delivery, tissue engineering to regenerative medicine, biomimetic surface modifications.
Prof. Yilin Cao, The Ninth People's Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, ChinaDr. Yilin Cao graduated from Shanghai Second Medical University with a MD degree in 1975 and with a PhD degree in 1991. His major contribution is the creation of cartilage in the shape of human ear in nude mouse, and thus he received James Barrett Brown Award in 1998, and the Maliniac Lecture-excellent honor esteem in 2010, at the meeting of American Association of Plastic Surgeons.
